Kite Rental Dubai

KiteSurfSUP rents kites, bars, boards and harnesses at Jebel Ali Public Beach. This is not a lesson. You already ride. We confirm that on the sand before a kite leaves the bag.

Who can rent

Independent riders: you can waterstart both directions, relaunch, and get back upwind without an instructor talking you through it. If you cannot, book a refresher hour first. We will not send a shaky waterstart into a working kite zone because the wind looks fun from the car park.

Skill check

Short conversation plus a watch on your first launch. If the check fails we convert the booking to a lesson hour at lesson rate. That is cheaper than a rescue and an insurance problem.

What you get

Kite and bar in a size that matches the day’s wind and your weight. Twin-tip or a directional if we have one that fits. Harness. Helmet and impact vest if you want them — we prefer you take them. School gear is current Naish / Prolimit stock rotated through the lesson fleet. It is not last decade’s 19-metre sitting in a container.

Where rental happens

Jebel Ali Public Beach is the rental base. Wide zone, lagoon water, room to fail a launch without hitting a sunbed. Ness Nass is lesson-first; ask before you assume you can pick a kite up there.

Yachts, jetski and jetcar are Dubai Harbour. They are not part of this rental.

Hourly vs half-day vs day

A session is the wind you actually get, not a clock on a shop wall. Half day is treated as about four hours. Full day about eight. If the wind dies we stop the clock. If you ride through a building thermal we do not invent extra hours to bill.

Sizes on the beach

Dubai thermal days often sit in the 12–18 knot band. That means bigger kites than people pack for Tarifa. Tell us your weight and how hard you like the bar. We would rather hand you a 12m you can hold than a 9m you stall in the lulls.

Rules

Launch and land with help if the beach is busy. Stay inside the kite zone. No jumping over the standing-depth teaching area. No leaving a kite on the sand with the bar attached while you “just grab water”. Sign the waiver. Emirates ID or passport plus a deposit for longer hires.

Insurance and waiver

Third-party cover sits on the operation. It does not make a poorly judged loop someone else’s problem. Read the waiver. If you have your own insurance that names kitesurfing, bring the policy number.

Delivery

Hotel or residence drop is possible for multi-day hires when we are not teaching. It is not a same-morning surprise. Warehouse pickup in Dubai Investment Park only if we have agreed it — call first, we are often on the beach.

FAQ

Can two of us share one kite? Only if you are both independent and you understand you will queue on each other. We would rather rent two smaller setups.

Can I take the kite to another emirate? Not without a written okay. The waiver is for our beaches.

What if I break it? Tell us on the beach. A torn bladder after an honest crash is a repair conversation. A kite driven into a fence because nobody looked downwind is a different conversation.
