Dubai is not a three-month kite season with the rest of the year dead. It is a thermal city with a stronger winter overlay. That is why we run lessons through the year and still cancel individual days.
October to May
This is the block most visitors book into. Air is kinder, shamal pulses show up, water is still warm enough that you are not thinking about a 5mm suit. Progress per hour is usually better because you can stay on the water without cooking.
June to September
Hot. The afternoon thermal still builds on many days. We shift the clock — earlier starts, more water, less standing on dark sand at 2pm. Hydration and a hat matter more than a new harness. If you only have a July week, we can still teach. We will not pretend it feels like February.
Wind is local
An app saying 12 knots at Jebel Ali and 10 at Ness Nass is normal. We pick the beach that morning. A “best month” chart from a travel site that never stood on either beach is not a booking tool.
What to book against the calendar
Ten-hour course: give yourself two weeks of calendar, not two days, so blown-out or empty days can be skipped. Taster: pick a forecast that already looks honest, then still let us confirm the night before.
